An Invite to Join the March Against Inflammation

Join XY Wellness Challenge in the March Against Inflammation

Inflammation

While the scientific evidence for inflammatory foods is still being gathered, clinical evidence dictates that there are foods that are pro-inflammatory.

Chronic, systemic inflammation plays a detrimental role on general health and recent research demonstrates a strong link between inflammation and cancer.

The problem is that the main inflammatory foods are those we like. And like a lot.
In fact, many of my patients have admitted to being addicted to these foods.

What are the main inflammatory foods

The 3 most common inflammatory foods include: sugar (which includes refined carbohydrates, gluten products and dairy.

  1. Refined Carbohydrates include: pasta, bread, baked items, all flour products
  2. Foods that contain gluten includes: wheat, barley, semolina
  3. Food that contain dairy includes: milk, cheese and all creams

Join me and the rest of the XY Wellness team for the March against inflammation

Starting next month, XY Wellness is challenging men to join us in a March Against Inflammation.

Chronic inflammation poses a material risk to your health and your ability to combat disease. You can reduce your exposure to inflammatory agents by simply making smarter dietary and lifestyle choices.

To demonstrate how dietary choices either boost or tax your body, the challenge is simple: during the month of March, avoid three well-known dietary sources of inflammation, and see how you feel.

What are the three? They are sugar, dairy and gluten.

Think you can do it? Hey, it’s only for a month! We know you can handle it, it is not as difficult as you might think, and we will guide you through it.

Are you in? It won’t be easy. But it will be fun. And you will feel darn good.
